I shouldn't have...

But I did! I made a pound cake today and topped it with strawberries. It was my little effort to get spring in gear. I used 1/3 less sugar  in the cake and very little on the berries. A few weeks ago Meijer had strawberries on sale for a dollar a pound so I bought 25 lbs and froze them. I wish I could share with everyone, but the picture will have to do!

  2. Oh dear! I've been so good about staying out of the kitchen tonight. Now, you've gone and got me all tempted to find something sweet to eat (after a very "sour" day).
